Hello,

I have been working with a part that has been around since SDRC I-deas Master Series 5. There were a lot of suppressed nodes on the history tree. I deleted all of the suppressed nodes and did a complete update on the part and then checked it into Teamcenter. When I went to modify the next version of this part it seemed "sluggish". It took a long time to do anything with it, such as sketch on plane, dimension wireframe, roll back, fillet, etc. I've done everything I could think of to clean the part (including HAM_MEDIC, various hidden commands, clean unused parameter and reset usage counts) but nothing seems to work. The only thing that would work is to delete the new version from TCe and start over. Has anybody come across this problem and have you had any success cleaning the part?

Did you try to migrate any of the history joins and exturde ECT.? I am sure you tried the /xto te ha fu this is another clean.

I think it would be a good idea to see if there is something in the history tree which is causing this. Perform a "delete history" (cntrl m->modify->delete history). Are you able to sketch on a face within a normal time period? If you are, go back to the pre-delete condition and start working your way down the tree deleting the history until you find the feature which could be casuing the problem.
I did have a similar issue once which was resolved by exporting an archive file and importing it back in, followed by a part replace on the master part. I'm not sure if you can export an archive in TC environment.
There are also some clean functions under cntrl-m/ special techs.
