How to detect tool collision on part and fixtures?

This is done in Machine Simulation.

I don't get it, in millig operation there is an option for collision check,Link without setting a part on machine tool, which is more complex for toolpath check, but there is non for quick more simpler lathe operation.

I Turning operations, just like milling, you can select part and check geometry, and you can define a parametric holder for the tool. Maybe an NX turning expert understands what you are asking and can comment.

If nobody jumps in here, please contact GTAC, or ask with some more details in the Discussion Forum of our Manufacturing Community.
