I heard about a couple hundred layoffs at their Grand Prarie Texas Facility. Rumor is they've decided on NX for their manufacturing solution as the v6 implementation was not going very well. Any publicly known truths to this? I would love to see NX back in the commercial airframe markets (especially here in Socal)and not just engine components. Btw, a past employer of mine who used NCL for their machine machine turbine products love the new turbo machining package so far.

As far as I know/heard it has nothing to do with V6 or NX. They have both systems. If you are talking about turbo machinery parts then yes NX has some automatic routines. Are really good? No. I gave them a inducer blade about 3-4 years ago and I am still waiting for their answer.
