Hello!
Could somebody prompt – how in the “NX 9 Advanced Simulation” translated meshes (copied, mirrored) can be joined each to other and to a carefully meshed original one to obtain a big entire model having some regular topology for analysis?
The copied meshes have not basic bodies so common tools like 'mesh mating' or 'sewing' are not available.
It looks like in the NX8.5 there was a special option 'Destination Mesh –> Add to Existing' in the “Element Translate” dialog boxes but in the NX9 this option is disappeared unfortunately.
I believe some smart new tools where provided in NX9 instead of the former one. But which ones?
Or maybe this option should be activated in some way. If so then how?.
A testing micromodel and explanatory pictures are attached.
Thanks in advance.
