NX 8 not automatically orienting view to sketch

I'm new to NX and trying to find out why my view does not automatically orient to the active plant when I start a new sketch. I checked session settings and selected change view orientation like a previous post said, but no luck. Thanks.

This works best when using the 'Sketch in Task Environment' method rather than the one simply labeled as 'Sketch'.
