NX 8.5 pop-up menu when selecting objects

I'm going from NX6 to NX8.5 (company is updating). One of the new "features" is a pop-up menu every time I select an object. The menu has options to edit, hide, delete, etc. I find this pop-up extremely annoying as it often covers up other objects that I want to select. I can just right click if I want those options so this pop-up has no value to me. Does anyone know how to disable it? I've looked around in the options but I can't seem to find anything.

There is no way to 'toggle' them ON or OFF, but they can be edited using Customize, including removings ALL of the icons, in which case they would no longer appear.

That being said, I would leave them along for awhile as I think you'll soon learn that they really can enhance your productivity and because they CAN be edited, using Customize, you have control over what icons are available meaning that you could include virtually any function that you so desired for whatever reason. I say this because I have to constantly go back to using pre-NX 8.5 versions when I'm trying to help users with their issues and I'm always looking for the 'Shortcut Toolbar' and cursing when it's NOT there

Thanks for your help John. I like the idea of those buttons being in the right click menu, but the automatic pop up greatly reduces my productivity. When I need to select points or objects in close proximity (which happens very often) it covers them up and slows me down. Limiting them to the right click menu would provide quick access to those commands and allow me to select objects quickly and efficiently without having to dodge around a pop-up every time. I hope this gets changed in future releases to be an option.
