Hi all,
I'm using the electrical routing application on NX 8.5 and then using a formboard and drafting it to show exact harness lengths. However, when I make the 3D formboard, the wiring is in 3 dimensions, i.e. it goes back into the screen as well as up and across the screen.
This means that when I draft the formboard and pick the dimensions off of each wire they aren't correct - they come up slightly short. When you try and orientate the branches, you can only orient them in the X-Y plane (assuming the Z plane is in to the screen). Is there a way to resolve this such that the formboad is automatically made in 2D?
Thanks,
Alex
