Hi,

I have created a detail view (please, see the attachment).
The detail view doesn't look too good.
What option in View Style would unable to have a better representation of the Detail View?

Thanks

Maybe increase the view tolerance to see if the problem clears up. Sometimes a tolerance that is too tight can give undesirable results.

Also, if there is interference between the 2 parts that can cause view issues. Eliminate the interference in the model if possible. If the interference is intentional, there are some options in the view style for interfering bodies that may help.

Would changing the Detail view to an independent view work?

Thanks all for your fast reply!
SDETERS was right: Changing the Detail view to an independent view works!
I'd love to know/learn why (how) this conversion works............

jerry1423, how/where could I play with the view tolerance? I haven't found location/setting for this variable.........!

cowski, Eliminating the interference does not solve the problem (please, see the new attachment).

View tolerance:
rmc on the drawing view -> Style -> General (tab) -> Tolerance (right side, 1/3 way down)
