Numerical simulation of ECAP process

Hi everybody,

I'm experimenting some problems trying to modelize the state of stress of an alloy rod treated by ECAP process (please click here for a short description :

The problem is that classic finite elements methods cannot simulate the descending of the rod into the channel and give me the final state of stress.

Does anybody have a solution for me ?
