Hello everyone,
I need to consider a load case with Nozzle Pro in order to verify a nozzle but I don't understand if the program can consider the load case combinations.
For example if I have an operating weight + occasional load (the picture is only an example) how can the software combine these loads in one load case?

LL1 = operating weight + occ. loads

I have never used Nozzle Pro, but as user of FEA software I can tell you that being a FEA software, Nozzle Pro should be able to do any number of load combinations with the help of suitable post processing facility. Generally load combinations and stress limits will depend on Code (e.g. ASME B 31.1). Further info should be available in Nozzle Pro manual.

Enter all the loads into their respective input fields and they will be included in the analysis. Anything that should be treated as a sustained load (for primary stress allowables) should be entered into the weight input. As goutam_freelance said, refer to the manual for more information on the combinations. Might also be worth your time running some test cases with loads in one category only then checking the stress results for the categorization. Also make sure this categorization complies with the construction code & design specifications you are working to or manipulate the input accordingly.
