When cutting an ellipsis in sheet metal it is edged/notched or not a straight elliptic curve! Not only in ProE but also when the laser is making the cut! See attachment.
HELP...
I am using Pro Engineer Wildfire 1.0!

JohnDoe77,

Try seeing if one of the following config.pro settings will help

|----Option----------|----Value--------------------------------|
| edge_display_quality | (Low, Normal*, High, Very_high) |
| save_model_display | (Wireframe, Shading_lod *, Shading_high)|

If the curve is calculated (i.e. curve from equation or relation) then I have seen influence similar to that with a large part accuracy. If the default is relative .0012 then try reducing it and see if it helps. Not sure though as I started with wildfire 3.0 and typically only see the effect of the accuracy on curves which are calculated via equations or if the ellipse is a small feature in comparison to a large part or model size.

Good luck,
