does anybody write a mathcad program to solve nonlinear equations using Newton Raphson method. I wrote one, but of very time consuming.

I am wondering if anybody can share some thoughts.

you can easily find on internet loads of sample codes solving nonlinear eq, with diff approaches. Is this Abaqus related?
