Hello there,

For a flanged valve say 4" #600 Flange RF, What is the nominal thickness value to be used for impact requirement curve . Material is A216 WCB(Casting)

is there any table where i can find the nominal thickness of flanged valve for a given material?

Does the minimum shell thickness of the valve has any role in determining nominal thickens of valve?

WCB doesn't have a curve (letter designation), limit is given as -20F for all thicknesses.

ASME B16.34

*** Per ISO-4126, the generic term
'Safety Valve' is used regardless of application or design ***

*** 'Pressure-relief Valve' is the equivalent ASME/API term ***
