I'm Using Staad Pro 2007.

Is it possible to define nodal supports in a local coordinate system?

I have a cylindrical structure on with supports that act as rollers perpendicular to the plane of the plates and pins parallel to the plane of the plates. I'm finding it pretty hard to come up with realistic results using supports defined in the global coordinate system.

Thanks for the help.

I talked with Bentley Tech Support.

I need to use an inclined support with the reference point as the center of my cylinder.

The STAAD Pro Knowledge base has several articles on inclined supports. The STAAD Pro help file has a small amount of information on inclined supports.
