No saving facility after installing CATIA V5?!

Hello!
After installing CATIA V5, there is no way to save my work... There are no "Save" or "Save as" commands in the File pop-up menu! How can I resolve this issue?

Did you make a new file, or open an existing file?

Try to add something to your file - a point, or a line, or anything. Does that fix the problem?

What licensing do you have?
I dont think educational or academic licensing allows for saving your files.
