No option to Export DXF / DWG

I have both SoildWorks 2006 and AutoCAD 2006 installed on two different computers. After selecting “Save As” there is no option to save the file in DXF / DWG format with in the file type list. I’m I missing something?

Only from the drawing you can do this, not the part or assy.

Make a drawing of the part/assembly and save to these formats from the drawing. You can't save parts and assemblies to these formats.

For part/assembly, try "save as: acis". It is a very "dumb" solid in autocad, but you can send the solid and AutoCAD should read it.
