I read in one of the internet pages, the strength for cast iron which follows ASTM Designation A48 is 250 N/sq.mm. Similarly the strength for cast iron GG25 (DIN 1691) is also same, 250 N/sq.mm. Now.....the nickel content in cast iron (ASTM A48) is 3%. But what about the Nickel content in GG25 (DIN 1691)? Are these two standards the same/equivalent? Please suggest.

Thank You
Diana
