folks,
in NFPA is there any requirement for the minimum pressure inside the Fire water ring?

some companies specify 10 barg as operating P, but is it by std or norm?

I believe that the pressure of 10 barn or 15 psig is the typical design and operating pressure for the firewater loop. You may design the system at the lower pressure if it may meet the Code requirement and provide adequate water for the fire protection.

Per the IFC, you are required to provide fire flow at a minimum of 20 psi. So, I would assume if you are under IFC criteria, you would need to maintain those pressures at a minimum.
