New version of I-deas?!

Can we expect a new version of I-deas (v14) or the system is already dead?

If there isn't a complimentary I-Deas upgrade it'll be a first.

I think I have seen an I-Deas NX-6 somwhere I think it was in the UGS answers about a IR fix

It will not be Called I-Deas 14 and I-Deas (13) is now called I-Deas NX5

Just seen some software field bulletins from Siemens-PLM relating to NX Ideas 6 running on Windows, HP and Sun platforms, so its definitely on its way.
I for one have no intention of considering moving away from Ideas at least until they stop developing it!!

I do believe NX Ideas 6 is out They are going to keep releasing I-Deas with the true NX series. The only thing is the new I-Deas releases will be more of a maintance release then having all kinds of new features and enhancements. At the UGS plm world Conference they pretty much said I-Deas is now on Life Support. UGS Siemens have pretty much moved most of the I-Deas developers to the True NX software side of things.
