Recommended for you

NBIC R1 or R2, Drawings denoting repair, welding procedures used, welder qualifications of welders making the repair, MTRs for materials used, NDE reports, hydrotest documentation.

Add to my list above, the original U-1 or U-1A Code Data Report if available.

cnieto,

Are you working for the maintenance company performing the work or the customer (plant owner)?

i work for the maintenece company as qc tech. i have worked at this facility before with the same maintenece co. but we only worked on bolt up items, no code work or piping.

Also get a copy of API-510. NBIC is strongly slanted towards boilers, and is very light on pressure vessels. API-510 is the opposite hand, strong on vessels & light on boilers.
