Do you have Workgroup PDM? There's a fix in SP2.1 stating the eDrawings viewer is fixed for the PDM vault. The eDrawings viewer doesn't even work in SW2008 SW4.0. It's a bug that's been bugging me (ha ha)for a long-time.

Hey, just found out something about uploading file through Engineering.com. Do not use ampersand "&" symbols in the filename.

Colin,

the fix was primarily with the e-drawing viewer for the web client, which still will not open all DWG's and throws funny errors when somebody tries. Supposedly this was just a rights issue in the registry somewhere and 2.1 was supposed to fix it. That's why my service call is still open and has been upgraded to critical. Nice fix SW [/rant]
