Hello,

We received a ready new 3-phase separator installed on a supporting skid.

We noticed that the insulation aluminum foils (cladding sheets) have black stains and possibly the aluminum layer has braded away due to bad transportation or storage.

These dark marks can not be cleaned by soap or water.

Could you advise on how best adjust the situation? or, shall it be kept as it is?

Please see the attached photo for more clarification.

Sincerely,

Is that insulation on the main vessel??

If so it's the best looking outer layer I've ever seen.

Aluminium creates it's own oxide layer, but it looks too "shiny" to me to be aluminium. Are you sure it isn't stainless?

how did that happen?

It is Aluminum sheets and it was reacted with a plastic cover during shipping and storage.
