New cards from AMD

Thought it was pretty good news that there will be new cards to choose from very soon. Will be interesting to see the performance numbers. 320 stream processors on board sounds fun.

For 299 (probably less) it seems to offer pretty good performance and with AMD being leaps ahead in vista driver devellopement they could finally be a worthy quadro competitor?

SolidWorks 2008 installs the AGEIA PhysX System Softwarefor use with the animation and Cosmos Motion portion that has been revamped. I wonder if the 320 stream proccessors in these cards would effectively work with this for physics acceleration. Just a thought...
