Negative Sequence Circuit Representation

Hi All,
I was simulating a network on ETAP and
Just out of curosity, analyzed results in seq. components form.


When representing a network in to Positive, -Ve and Zero seq. network, Postive seq. network has a voltage source in sries with it on the other hand a -ve seq. network has just the negative seq. impedance compontent.

Why is it like this.

When we reverse the motor phase connection we can rotate it in opposite direction that means it is -ve seq voltage.

So why these two arguments conflict.

I would appreciate a word.

There is no voltage source in the negative-sequence network because generators to not rotate backwards. There is no negative sequence voltage generated.
