Negative Jacobian Error

In Abaqus, such errors are referred to as negative volume elements. The most common reason is an incorrect adjustment in tie constraints. Abaqus saves such distorted elements in sets called ErrElemVolSmallNegZero. Check this set to locate the problem. This way you should be able to determine the actual reason of error in your particular case.
