Hi-My name is Charles, I am currently working on a publication about several aspects of the wastewater treatment process. I was curious to see if anyone had any knowledge or documentation depicting what fraction of US WWTPs utilize lime treatment and similarly, how many/what fraction use anaerobic digestion. Many thanks in advance for your time!

Charles

Anaerobic systems are generally used on WWTP above 5 mgd capacity because of the economics.

Lime is only used for WWTP sludge treatment processes and it is not common.
