Dear All,
I am currently involved with FSI analyses using Abaqus, the formation is clay shale which I consider modified cam-clay constitutive model for it, and I have a prob consisting of hyper-elastic material (packer) and steel(couplings and mandrel). In geostatic step, it says that geostatic can be used just for some constitutive models used for soil which makes sense and having some other materials such as my case, can create instability and divergence, and when I put the model for run, it aborts after 5 unstable steps, so my question is what I should do for that?
It would be highly appreciated if you help me here.
Thanks...
