Hi,
I need 5 ea G600R1200K7C7. It is a Powerblock Thyristor module made by AEG. Can´t find datasheet or supplier.
Can anybody help to locate this obsolete part?
Thank you,

Did you search the Semikron site? Their modules do usually not have the free-wheeling diode connected internally. But otherwise, they should have an equivalent to your module.

A 100 % drop-in will probably be very difficult to find. There's also IR.

I used to find Semikron's published ratings to be quite optimistic compared with other manufacturers - their devices required massive heatsinking and ran at high die temperatures compared to a similarly rated device from just about any other manufacturer. I'm not sure if they are still playing this specmanship game or not but it's something to be aware of.

Have you tried Powerex or Westcode (IXYS) for an equivalent? They both used to have a good range.

I have used Bowers Semiconductors in the past to track down replacements for old thyristors. It might be worth calling them:

If we learn from our mistakes I'm getting a great education!

Thnak you!
Have scrolled through Powerex website. Found possible replacement. Will check suitability.
