Need Help Modeling an Insert

Hey guys and girls,

I have a curved surface for a part that will be made from ABS. I would like to model a thin silicone insert for that ABS piece that follows the curves of the surface.

How do I

(1) model a recess in the abs part in the surface where the silicone will go into?
(2) model the silicone insert?
(3) While following the existing curvatures?
