Need assistance with MOSFET curve-tracing

Hello; I'm an engineering technician with a telecom company. I really could use help from you guys with a curve-tracing issue.

A. How do I characterize/observe the curves on a MOSFET using a Tektronics 177/577 combo.

B. How do I check gate voltage vs. drain to source current on a MOSFET on a Tektronics 177/577 combo.
