Need an example edit surface code function for UG Open API C

Does anyone have an example function that they could share that edits a curve mesh type surface in NX4 to add an additional string to an existing curve mesh surface?

Something seems to have changed in NX4 that I am not catching.

I have an example dummy test code in a previous post that I am trying to debug if you can assist there. But a code snippet would help to.

I'm hoping someone can share a working edit function for NX4 so I can see the proper structure to use now.
