Do keenserts hold up to this test if the parent material (fixture) is aluminum? The part we're testing weighs about 50-100 pounds and there will be 26 bolts/keenserts. The keenserts will be approximately 1 inch in OD.

I'm concerned the keenserts will work themselves loose from the aluminum.
 
Anybody with shock fixturing experience?
 
I am familiar with the shock enviroment you are dealing with. All I can tell you is to run the nombers. See if the part will be loaded above its yield point, if so they will work loose, if not they will work loose eventually.

I don't know what kind of levels you are running to, so I can't really give you a very good idea of what to expect. Our company mostly runs random vibration test with aluminum fixtures and helicoil inserts (same as keenserts?). After a good 20 grms (60 g max) random test with a 10 - 30 lb part we see no degradation of the inserts and can even reuse these fixtures. So, as long as your test is not at a much higher level you will probably be alright.
