Nailed Shearwall Capacities IBC 2018

Can you guys tell me why the IBC took out the nailed diaphragm and shearwall capacity tables?....and instead reference ESR-1539 for those capacities?

Why didn't they just leave those values in there?

Now I've got yet another place to have to go to dig up data.

No idea. I've never paid any attention to those tables anyway. I use the NDS for all my wood stuff, and the SDPWS for diaphragms and shearwalls.
