I discovered this exhaustive reference for terminology related to Mechanical, Metal, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering.

They will send a free hard copy on request.

Check it out.

What a great resource!

The web form failed when I tried to order a copy of thier terminology dictionary, but MetalMart was very helpful over the phone. "The attempt and not the deed confounds us."

The Dictionary covers an enormous number of topics, but many definitions are one sentence. Closer to a glossary than an encyclopedia, but still very useful if you run into an unfamiliar phrase.
Ran into the same problem submitting the on-line order form, so I backed up, copied the page, clicked on 'Contact Us!' & emailed the info.

I recommend the following site for an on-line reference on all things aluminum:
It includes subjects & plots for "Strength at elevated temperatures" of Al 6o63-T6.
