i am working on materials characterisation and i have a materials made of two layers one layer have more air resistivity than the other. the simulation results shows that having the most resistive in the direction of the sound source makes the absorption in kundts tube better and the absorption with a transmission media behind the specimen less and vice versa and i have no physical explication for this.????
