I inserted a part into a part.
Then I added a scale.
It does not scale the inserted part, only the active part features.
Is there a way to scale this part?

Depending on the end requirements there are several alternatives...

Apply the scale to a config of the original part, and then Insert > Part.

-or-

Make a copy of the original part, apply the scale, then Insert > Part.

-or-

Create a set of offset surfaces from the original.

You can use the SW Scale function or Lenny's ModelRescaler macro at

Thanks.
It looks like the part I used is a series of sketches used for top down.
The scale function will not work with the model because there are no features other than sketches. I tried making config's then scaling the sketches, but it threw up on other models using the part with sketches.

I haven't used Lennys ModelRescaler macro on a sketch, but it may be wort trying because it works on the dimensions, not the geometry.

Just ran a test. The macro works fine on dimensioned sketches.
