Hello fellow members

I have question related to output request format of MSC Patran.

I have done static analysis of composite model.

The output results are different for HDF5 and XDB.

The results are more critical in case of XDB than HDF5.

Which output is more accurate HDF5 or XDB?

What strategy or output request is better for static analysis of composite model?

Hi, which output request are we considering - equivalent stress, ply stress, element force, failure index,...?
Have you compared the output you are seeing in Patran with the MSC Nastran output?
Are you able to share some example output of the XDB and h5 files, or even an input file, so we can take a look?

Finally, please don't double post - you posted the exact same question in the Nastran forum.
