MPC Chamber question

Hi,
We have an old MPC Chamber with R502/R13 cascade system,there are two valves in the system , one for R13 SHORT CIRCUIT SOLENOID VALVE and the other for RES.13 INPUT SOLENOID VALVE,can anyone explane the functions of these two valves, because pipes completely covered by insulation?
(Any body know how to reach this manufacturer (MPC France))
