move multiple entities in sketch mode

Newbe here. Pro-E 2001

When in sketch mode I hold down the shift key and select multiple entities. When I select edit + move the entities become deselected.

How can I move multiple sketch entities?

Select the entities you wish to move. Select the scale/rotate icon. It looks like a circle with double arrows inside. This is a flyout icon just above the checkmark icon. Use the left mouse button to select the X that appears and then move the entities as a whole and click the left moouse button where you want to drop them.
