move dim from prt view to asm view in dwg

you have created a dwg using a part view& almost completed the dwg.but by using asm the view are to be created & dimensioned using show/erase dim.


Just create new part views- front & top.goto show & erase ,show all dimesnions in the created new views.


delete the old part views.


goto new asm view,select show/erase,part & view,now select theview in which all resp. dimesions of the part has to be shown.accept all.


done.

Not sure why you want to do that.
Parts are always detailed at the part level, not the assembly level.
