Been awhile....hope all's well with all...

Mouse pointer has changed to an hourglass only in SW. Regular pointer in other applications.
Its driving me nutz....

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Is it a complete hourglass or is it the selection filter? I often hit a wrong key and turn on the selection filter, and since I don't know what key I hit, I can't turn it off so I have to exit and restart.

F6 allows you toggle the filters on/off as well, without the need to bring up the filter toolbar.

This doesn't help much if you want to change what you're filtering for, but if you just want to turn the filter off it will work fine.

Thanks. I just put up a sticky note. I know it will happen again with my clumsy fingers.

My friends...thank you again for all your expert advice.

Later!!

Thanks,

Rip

Well usually when the mouse pointer turns to an hourglass its indicates SW it rebuilding or doing something. Sometimes its crashing :-).. haha anyway that's what I have found.
