Mouse no longer showing

We have a Mitsubishi LZP3015 2Kw and we just installed a new hard drive in it and now the mouse pointer is no longer visible but if we move around and click the mouse buttons do get highlighted
does anyone know how to fix this ?

We figured it out, windows defaults it to no pointer so we just went into control panel>mouse and selected to show pointer
