My company uses a MV Jr (with carbide inserts on our bits)to drill holes through flanges. Previous engineers at the company programmed it to drill only carbon steel, and I am trying to progam it for 304/L stainless. The way I understand it stainless is to be drilled at a lower rpm. Can anyone recommend a starting rpm and feed rate that I should run it at?

The application engineer for the carbide insert company lives to help you.
