Can anyone tell me how do I activate the moment curvature facilities in v11.Do I have to analyse and design the section first?

I think SAP2000 can only show you interaction diagram. And that will happen after you design the section and click to see details.

But CSI(that publishes SAP2000) has a program called CSICol that does all that stuff.
