Hi:

Haven't posted for quite some time. Was unemployed for almost 2 years.

Which is more accurate when running an injection mold draft analysis, Autodesk or NX7.5. My plastics supplier is running the draft analysis using a model within AutoDesk and I'm running the analysis using NX7.5.

Both packages should agree pretty closely, but I assume from the question that they don't. How much discrepancy are you seeing? Are you both using the same reference (pull direction)? Who is using native geometry? It is possible that the part got reoriented on export, import the geometry into the native part (or a copy of it) to see if the orientations agree.

Thanks for the reply. I was curious to know if one was more accurate than the other. I'm in the process of designing a large injection molded part with NX7.5 and I'm using the built in draft analysis tool. However, the engineer at my supplier is using AutoDesk. If both are about the same, it will reduce the number of design iterations.
