Modifying Textures/materials

I'm trying to modify a texture to add an image but stupid catia is saying the liberary is "read only". How do I get this piece of crap to let me edit textures/materials or, better yet, create new ones?

Mike, I believe you have to be in the ADMIN mode in order to add new materials.

Hmmm and how do I get it into admin mode if it isn't there already.... I would like to be running in admin mode automatically all the time.
