Modifying And Editing Text

Hi,
I want to make a text into really sketch so that I can edit individual letters.
For example I would want to remove one of the crossbar on a "I" and then make
another part that has the crossbar present and the vertical bar missing.
Is it possible to edit parts of the letters as a sketch, but leave most of
the letters alone?

Hi Beacher,
RMB on the sketch text and use "Dissolve sketch text", which will give you
editable lines and splines.
