Dear friends,
I just wonder what is the terminology used for the shelter used in most of the modern feeder containerships (and maybe some motherships). This construction is built on the weatherdeck-bow to provide aerodynamic and to protect the first rows of containers from the heavy seas.
Afaik, it was mentioned as "whaleback" somewhere but not sure at all.
Anyone knows ??
Regards,
bahadir
