Modem interfacing using c / c++

I need the information for the modem interfacing using C via serial Port. I want to know how modem dialer can be designed using C which i need for my project-kavediamanoj@rediff.com

 

There was an excellent book from Howard W Sams some years back which was called something like "Serial Communications in C". It is well worth finding, try

Check on the documentation for your C compiler, this is so common there is usually a sample code fragment for doing this!!

I forget the titles, but there are some very good books by Joe Campbell on this subject.
