I'm a solidworks novice but I know the basics. Was hoping to get some advice on modeling a pair of sunglasses. Something like this -
Any ideas on the best way to approach such a model?

I can only think of about 900 different ways to go about it. The best bet is to get started then ask us when you run into problems. Also, check 3D Content Central. I seem to remember seeing a pair of glasses there.

Only model half the part. Use sketch pictures to trace on. Check out projected curve. Surfacing will probably help you overcome some of the solid limitations. I hope this helps.
